Maintaining your Ultradarts system

Regular maintenance of your Ultradarts system will improve it's longevity, accuracy and reliability. We recommend conducting the checks below on a weekly basis.

  • Clean dartboard housing, vacuum any debris (broken flights, dust, chunks of cork/dartboard) from the bottom of the housing.
  • Check the foam surrounding the dartboard. Over time this foam will become damaged and chunks may stick out. It is important this replaced to ensure it does not obstruct or interfere with detection. Ensure that the foam sits flush and does not jut out past the board itself.
  • Inspect around the ring to ensure nothing is obstructing the LED ring light or the cameras' view of the board. Ensure the LED lights are not dimmed or damaged.
  • Clean the kiosk by wiping the iPad screen with a microfiber cloth.
  • Clean the TV, dust the bezel; wipe the screen if needed.
  • Inspect the darts. Over time the darts will become damaged and may begin to detect less accurately and reliably. Any darts that are noticeably bent or damaged should be replaced. Ensure the flights are secure, with regular play they will become damaged and loose and will require occasional replacement.
  • Inspect the dartboard. Inspect for wear, warping and other damage, particularly in the area around the Bullseye and 20, as they tend to wear first. With long-term use the board will become damaged and darts may fall or bounce out, which can be a hazard. Replace any board that is showing obvious signs of wear.
  • Visually inspect the cameras, ensure there are no scratches, smudges or markings. Avoid touching the lens of the cameras.

Things to avoid

  • Do not use aerosol cleaners near the cameras, residue can accumulate on lenses.
