Kiosk is showing a white screen or not updating

If your kiosk is showing a white screen OR the system has updated but the changes are not appearing in the kiosk, please follow the steps outlined below.

Steps

  1. Restart the kiosk tablet
  2. Ensure that the tablet has connection to the internet
  3. Open the 'Settings' app
  4. Click the 'General' button
  5. Click the button labelled 'iPad Storage'
  6. Scroll down and search for the 'Prosurf' app and tap it
  7. Press the 'Offload App' button, this will remove the app locally but keep your configuration
  8. Once offloading has completed the button will say 'Reinstall App', tap this button again to reinstall the Prosurf app
  9. Once the reinstallation is complete please open the Prosurf app again, the kiosk should now be running as expected

Kiosk shows "Can't reach Neoshuffle PC"

If the kiosk is showing a popup saying "Can't reach Neoshuffle PC", please follow the below steps. The TV may be showing the idle screen, frozen, or not displaying.

Steps

  1. Ensure that the Neoshuffle PC is on, connected to the network and operating as expected.
    • If multiple lanes are being effected simultaneously or the system is disconnecting and reconnecting periodically, it may be a network error
    • If the PC is on but the game is not appearing on screen, please navigate to Screen Display Issues
  2. Confirm that a Lane ID has been set, this can be checked by navigating to the configuration tab in the kiosk settings.
  3. Ensure that the kiosk is connected to the Wi-Fi and can access the internet

When to contact GXT Support

If the above did not resolve your issue, please contact GXT Support with:

  • Affected lane(s) (lane ID)
  • Photo of what's on the kiosk screen
  • When it started, if known
  • Any recent changes

What NOT to do

  • Do not factory-reset the iPad, you'll lose the kiosk setup and need GXT to re-provision it.
