Replay Camera Issues

Use this guide when the replay camera is not working correctly after installation. Covers blurry image, incorrect zoom, camera not connecting, and the system using the detection camera instead of the replay camera.

Issues

Replay camera image is blurry

If the replay footage looks blurry or out of focus.

Steps:

  1. On the kiosk, open the live feed: Kiosk → Camera Settings → Replay Camera → View Feed
  2. Remove the housing lid to access the lens.
  3. Have a coworker stand in the throwing position. Slowly rotate the focus ring while watching the live feed. Stop when they are fully in focus and the image is sharp.
  4. Replace the housing lid and confirm the image is still sharp.

If you adjusted the zoom ring at any point, you must re-set the focus afterwards.

Replay Camera is too zoomed in or out

Symptom: The player's head, arms, or body is cut off during throws.

Steps:

  1. Open the live feed: Kiosk → Camera Settings → Replay Camera → View Feed
  2. Remove the housing lid.
  3. Turn the zoom ring toward the wide end until the full player is visible with space around them, the image will become more blurred.
  4. Adjust the focus ring until the image is sharp - zoom changes affect focus.
  5. Replace the housing lid.

Replay Camera not connecting

If the replay camera doesn't appear as loaded in the Status tab, or replays show no camera feed.

Steps:

  1. Check the USB cable at both ends:
    • At the camera: confirm the cable is plugged in and seated fully.
    • At the computer: confirm the cable is securely seated into a USB port
  2. Restart the game via the kiosk.
  3. If the issue persists, contact GXT Support.

Replay is using the detection camera instead of the replay camera

This will often be noticeable if pucks do not detect in game. The replay camera feed can be viewed from the 'Cameras' tab in the kiosk settings.

Steps:

  1. Open the 'Cameras' tab in the kiosk settings, ensure that there are no errors displayed in red and no actions are required
  2. If available, press the 'Assign Cameras' button, you will be prompted to select the correct camera feed
  3. Restart the system via the kiosk
  4. If the issue persists, contact GXT Support.

'Action Replay is currently disabled for this table' error appearing on kiosk
