In order to ensure the longevity of the hardware it is best practice to turn the units off periodically, we suggest nightly. Use the checklist below as standard end-of-night practice.
End of Night Checklist
- End the active session, if there is one
- Collect loose pucks and store them in the designated spot
- Lightly brush leftover wax off the surface, ready for a full re-wax
- Ensure the kiosk remains plugged-in and charging
- If preferred, turn off the lightbar
- Turn of the computer cleanly from it's power button, do not hold the button, it may take a moment to shutdown
Notes
- Do not unplug the computer or camera at the end of the night, this is unnecessary
- Do not plug the iPad into the Neoshuffle computer to charge, this may not reliably charge the device
